Love of Nom came about as a result of not just that, (a love of food) but also from a realization. A realization while I already thoroughly, thoroughly love food, I could and should live life pursuing my passion for it.
In November 2016, I was working in Information Technology. I had just graduated from Purdue University in May (Boiler Up!) and was working with a great company in Chicago, IL. I realized, however, that while I enjoyed the company of my coworkers, the city life and the IT environment, this work was not where my real passion lay. It was at this point that I decided to enter the world of food professionally.
I am proud to say that in February 2018, I will be part of Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne’s Master Class in the Culinary Arts Program, which will teach me a mix of Culinary Arts, Management Training and Operational skills to prepare me for my entry into the world of food. This blog is my way of exploring and sharing with you my world of food, as well as my journey, before, during and after my time at EHL.
